What We Do
Rotational grazing
Only allowing the cattle an area large enough to have forage and water for a set time and moving them increases soil heath, forage recovery time, forage diversity and animal health. Allowing management of movement helps build the soil with time. Giving forage enough recovery time limits animal exposure to parasites in the forage making it easier for animals to manage their own parasitic loads resulting in healthier livestock. Also we add a mineral supplement or mineral sled to give the animals free choice and receive anything our forage is missing. We are responsible for making the land better and keeping the animals healthy and this is the best way we have found.

Our Small Farm
We are small farm and started out for the health of our family and have grown to helping friends and neighbors. We eat what we raise and don’t sell anything we wouldn’t feed to our family. As any livestock grower should, we only raise what our land will support sustainably that way we can bring the best to our family and yours!
